I was browsing websites one day and I happened upon Minta's site in my unending quest for the "right" bassinet. When I saw that she did custom bassinets I started thinking about using my wedding dress for a bassinet. I am pretty small, so I was pretty sure even if I did have girls it isn't likely to fit them, but if I had it made into a bassinet I could pass it on through the family no matter if I had a boy or a girl. I really liked the idea, but I was really unsure of sending my gown to some stranger to be cut up. I debated for about two months, then decided to call Minta just to find out the price and talk it over with her. She was EXCELLENT! She sent me references and offered for me to contact other customers of hers, which I did. I was feeling more and more confident in sending away my gown, so finally I just did it. Of course I was still nervous, but Minta kept me well posted and sent me pictures throughout the process. At one point when she wasn't sure what fabric I would go with, she halted all her work and sent me swatches so that I could pick the one I wanted so that it would be right. When it was all done, she sent me pictures to make sure it was what I was looking for. I was amazed that she got it just right, when all we had done is talk on the phone and I had sent her a REALLY REALLY bad sketch of what I was looking for. It took her exactly how long she said it would, (6 weeks) and it cost exactly what she quoted me. She also emailed me a couple weeks after I received it to make sure I was happy with it. I was really impressed with her customer service, and I truly could not be happier with my bassinet. To this day I still have not met Minta in person, and I have not talked with her since doing my bassinet, but when she wrote asking for a reference, I jumped at the opportunity. I wanted to so that the people out there who are contemplating using Lamb-co, but are unsure of using an online company, will be a littl e more comfortable and hopefully take away any uncertainty about using them.
