ABOUT
THE COMPANY
LAMB is not
a large, faceless corporation. We are just two friends with
40 combined years of experience in the sewing business. Our
beginnings were very humble, actually. Our business started
when an expectant family friend asked us to design a bassinet
ensemble to welcome her newborn. Our friend had scoured the
city's baby shops and had even done a lot of shopping on the
Internet, but she just couldn't find anything she liked. This
expectant mom was very frustrated at the expensive prices being
charged for products that offered an abundance of cartoon characters,
a cookie-cutter sameness, and second rate construction.

We
knew we could do better, and we did by creating a charming bassinet
that met the specifications of the mom-to-be, and we did it
within her budget! We were pleased to discover the cost of our
custom creation could compete favorably with the mass-produced
products already on the market. We believed we had something
unique and affordable to offer new moms everywhere.
And LAMB was born.

As is often the
case in life, one thing led to another. Without boring you with details,
suffice it to say we also make terrific flannel quilts and elegant
Christening gowns. We don't have a production line. (With only two
of us sewing, it would be a very short line.) We do, however, sew
with care, and we promise to treat your order as though the item would
be for our own grandchild.
